COVID-19 Update For Our Patients

Dear Valued patients of ASNA WELLNESS MEDICAL OBGYN

You may have seen reports that local healthcare facilities are coordinating efforts to protect our community from coronavirus.  To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, our office will be closed,  beginning today Monday, March 23, 2020 and will remained closed for the next two weeks. We have a tentative reopen date for APRIL 06, 2020. However, situations are constantly changing and as they change, we will do our best to update our patients accordingly. While our office will be physically closed, we will actively be available to schedule future appointments, answer questions regarding labs and/or test results.  If you should have an emergency and we are unable to meet your needs, please go to your nearest urgent care. We are currently working on implementing our telehealth services, where we can still  be able to assess and evaluate our patients in a time-sensitive manner. The situation is changing rapidly and we will continue to comply with guidelines and keep you updated as things evolve. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time and please stay safe!

WE ALL MUST DO OUR PART

We all have an important role in preventing the spread of disease. If you are sick, call our office to reschedule. If you have allergies or are ill, please cough and sneeze in the fold of your arm or in a tissue and throw the tissue away immediately.  No matter how you feel, make sure to practice good hand hygiene by washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or using alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60-95% alcohol.

We will be continuing to perform thorough routine environmental cleaning to help disinfect our office areas. In addition, we are adjusting our staffing to minimize the number of team members in the office at a given time.  We have instructed them to stay home if they are feeling ill. While this may result in a slightly longer wait time, these precautions can help minimize risk for our patients and the community.

Because the situation is changing rapidly, the guidelines established by government agencies are in flux. This means there may be temporary changes that can happen with little or no warning. Should changes be necessary, we will be contacting patients who are impacted as soon as possible.

OTHER QUESTIONS

By working together and making the appropriate conscious choices every day, we can minimize the impact of this pandemic on our local community here in Astoria.  If you have questions specific please call us at 718-545-0003 or email us at asnawellnessobgyn@gmail.com

Getting Ready For Summer With CoolSculpting

Summer is here with us, and you’re nowhere near the perfect summer body that you had planned; which tends to happen every year to the best of us. Winter comes with it tasty treats, and our self-control escapes us. The holidays have a way of whispering in our ear, “Indulge,” which we do wholeheartedly. After all, “I can always work it all out over spring break before beach body season.” But alas! Maybe it could be that your chin has just refused to work with you. I mean, how do you even start exercising a double chin? Or magically zap out that extra fat on the inside of your thighs that just won’t go away? You may find yourself in a position with love handles that aren’t as cute as the name suggests, or extra arm fat that you would gladly do without. CoolSculpting is a procedure you want to try out.
